Rico Wiedenbruch, PhD.

Dr. Wiedenbruch received a PhD from ETH Zürich (physical chemistry) and an MBA from the same school. After various executive positions at Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Syngenta and AZ Electronic Materials he served most recently as Senior Vice President and CEO Semiconductor Solutions at Merck. He lived for many years in Japan and gained a deep experience of running businesses across different cultures in Asia, North America and Europe. Mr. Wiedenbruch is now an independent investor and focuses on business advisory and non-executive board mandates in the wider technology and chemical sectors.

Christof Senn

Christof Senn completed his professional training in Senn Chemicals AG in 1984. Over the following years he worked in different departments (R&D, Lab production, QC and Logistics). In 1999 he became member of the executive management of Senn Chemicals AG in charge of R&D. Since 2011 has been CEO of his own company: Christof Senn Laboratories AG. With many years of practical experience in Peptide Chemistry he will support the sustained growth of Senn Chemicals.

Alain Scarso, PhD.

Alain Scarso received his PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Mons (Belgium) while he was already involved in pharmaceutical peptides research. He completed his education in business administration at INSEAD (France). As General Manager, Dr. Scarso developed the company UCB Bioproducts as one leader in the pharmaceutical peptide API CMO. He also held the position of Vice president of UCB Pharma as site directors of is Belgian plant. Later he became successively Vice President of Lonza Braine, the peptide of Lonza AG, and Director of the Global Technical Operations of the PolyPeptide Group. Having made all its career in the peptide manufacturing business he is now willing to assist Senn Chemicals in its further development.

Hans-Peter Wyss

Hans-Peter Wyss, born 1967, holds a master in business and economics from the University of Zurich. He held various positions in the areas of audit, risk management, corporate finance and advisory with Andersen and Deloitte in Switzerland. As a partner he advised large groups around the globe as well as many local companies of various industries in Switzerland. Hans-Peter Wyss retired from his position in 2013 and started his own advisory firm specialising on financial governance. He is acting as non-executive board member of several other companies in Switzerland.

Michael Senn

Michael Senn started his professional career in Senn Chemicals, where he worked from 1985 until 2006. After gaining synthetic and analytic lab experience, he changed to quality assurance and joined the executive board in 2000. In 2002 he installed ISO 9001:2000 and made the company fit for the new established Swissmedic. In 2006 he started his own business as CAM practitioner in the field of phytotherapy and homeopathy. He joined the Board of Directors of Senn Chemicals in July 2019.
